Nine-year-old Girl Climbs 214 fells

A nine-year-old girl has been awarded the honour of
becoming the youngest person to climb all 214
Lakeland Fells as recognised by Alfred Wainwright.
The Wainwright society presented Ellen Regan of
Caldbeck, Cumbria, with the award along with a
boxed set of Alfred Wainwright's Lake District
sketchbooks.

Ellen climbed her first fell when she was only 3 years
old and at the age of nine, completed her 214th fell,
which was Scafell Pike.

Well done Ellen.
