Lake District Weather
The weather in the Lake District can change rapidly with little warning meaning some people can be caught out. The link below allows users to view the weather forecast for parts of the Lake District and more detailed reports on the actual Fells.
This website gives you a detailed forecast of the Lake District Fells both at valley level and mountain summit. It is updated twice a day between 7-8am and 4.30-5.30pm.

The BBC weather service gives a general weather report for the local Towns in and around Cumbria. It offers a 5 day forecast and an 24 hour forecast for Keswick & Ambleside.
The Met Office weather service gives a 5 day general weather report for the local towns in and around Cumbria’s National Park.
This website is dedicated to the Keswick School Science Specialist Status programme, which has linked weather stations from six schools in the area to feed a live weather report on the internet.
